With great sorrow, Amazônia Agroflorestal and Idesam received, on the morning of Wednesday, 03/01/2023, the news of the death of the farmer, partner and friend Glorinha Julião Inácio de Souza. Born in Rondônia and resident for over 20 years on the Raulino side road, part of the Rio Juma Settlement Project, in Apuí, Glorinha has always been present and active in the actions of the Café Apuí Agroflorestal Initiative, among other partnerships for the development of the territory. Her relationship with Idesam started out with the history of the agroforestry coffee initiative itself, in 2012, when the first plantations began. Her family's participation in the Café Apuí Agrofloresal Initiative has made a profound contribution to the results and to all the work already done. We thank Glorinha for her dedication, sensitivity and joy throughout this journey. We offer our deepest condolences to family and friends for your loss.
